Risto Kytö is a well-known pianist in Finland. He is active in many fields of music and performs
regularly in Sibelius Finland Experience events as a piano soloist and accompanist. His art combines accuracy and expression. He has performed pieces by
Jean Sibelius in numerous concerts in the Helsinki Music Centre, National Hall and Sibelius Home Museum Ainola.
Kytö got his Master's Degree in Helsinki Metropolia University in 2012. Since then he has worked as a pianist and teacher in Helsinki area specializing in Suzuki Method.
He has been rewarded in several piano competitions in Finland. He also won the national chamber music competition Juvenalia with a trio with flute and
cello in 2001. In the age of fifteen, he gave his first concert in the United States.
Risto Kytö lives in the cultural scenery
of Tuusula near Sibelius' home and plays the viola and other instruments in different orchestras for fun.
